Bulk Forklift Tire Orders: What Info We Need to Quote in One Pass
Share
Bulk tire orders can move fast, or turn into a week of back-and-forth.
If you want a quote in one pass (and you want the order to be correct), the goal is simple:
Give us enough information to confirm fitment and match each tire to the correct unit.
Below is the exact info we ask for.
The one-pass quote checklist
1) A tire sidewall photo for each tire size
For cushion/press-on tires, the size is usually printed on the sidewall (unless the tire is worn past replacement).
Send:
- A clear sidewall photo showing the size
- One photo per unique tire size (more is better if you have mixed units)
2) A readable data plate photo for each forklift model
To confirm the current tires are correct, we want the forklift's:
- Make
- Model
- Best way: a readable photo of the data plate.
3) Serial numbers (required when you have multiple similar units)
If you have more than one forklift of the same model, serial numbers prevent mix-ups.
Send:
- Serial number for each unit
- Or a photo that clearly shows the serial number
This is how we keep Unit A and Unit B from getting swapped.
4) Quantity breakdown (by unit or by tire size)
Tell us how many tires you need, and how they map to your fleet.
Two easy formats:
- By unit: Forklift #1 needs X tires, Forklift #2 needs Y tires
- By size: 21x7x15 = quantity __, 16x6x10.5 = quantity __
If you're not sure, send what you have and we'll help you organize it.
5) Location(s) and timeline
Bulk orders are usually about uptime planning.
Send:
- City/state (and/or zip code)
- Desired delivery window
- If install is needed, preferred dates/time window
6) Environment notes (optional, but helps us recommend the right option)
If you want us to recommend the right tire option (not just match size), tell us:
- Indoor smooth concrete vs outdoor yard
- Freezer use
- Oil/lubricant-heavy floors
- Ramps (especially steel ramps)
This is where non-marking and traction options can matter.
What if the sidewall is worn off?
If the tire is worn down past where it should be replaced, the size may not be readable.
In that case, send:
- A photo of the forklift
- A readable data plate photo
- Make/model and serial number
We'll use that to find the year and the correct manual to confirm fitment.
The only time bulk quotes get complicated
Bulk orders are usually straightforward.
The only time issues come up is when:
- The previous tires were incorrect, or
- The forklift has wheel/hub/axle damage that affects fitment
That's why we prefer confirming with the data plate and serial numbers.
Want a bulk quote in one pass?
Send:
- Sidewall photos (showing size)
- Data plate photos (readable)
- Serial numbers (especially for multiple similar units)
- Quantity breakdown
- Location + timeline
We'll confirm fitment and quote it cleanly.
