Refund policy

Overview

Pro Lift Source sells industrial warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, sweepers, and forklift tires. Due to the nature of our products—heavy equipment with high shipping and handling costs—all sales are generally considered final. We do accept returns under limited circumstances as outlined below.

30-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 30 calendar days of delivery. Requests submitted after 30 days will not be accepted under any circumstances. The return window begins on the date the carrier confirms delivery, not the date of purchase or shipment.

Return Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return, ALL of the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be completely unused, uninstalled, and unaltered from its original delivered condition.

  • The item must be in its original packaging with all original packing materials, manuals, accessories, and hardware included.

  • You must provide your original order number and proof of purchase.

  • You must contact us at Riley@ProLiftSource.com BEFORE shipping any item back. Unauthorized returns will be refused at delivery and returned to sender at the buyer’s expense.

  • The item must not show any signs of installation, mounting, wear, damage, modifications, or environmental exposure (rain, dust, UV, etc.).

  • For forklift tires: tires that have been pressed onto a rim, mounted, driven on, or show any flat spots, scuffing, or deformation are NOT eligible for return.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Used forklifts, pallet jacks, sweepers, and all used heavy equipment (sold as-is).

  • Any item that has been installed, mounted, assembled, or put into service.

  • Custom orders, special orders, or items sourced specifically at the buyer’s request.

  • Forklift tires that have been pressed, mounted, or show any signs of use.

  • Items damaged due to improper storage, handling, installation, or use after delivery.

  • Items purchased during clearance, liquidation, or promotional sales marked as final sale.

  • Rental equipment or items provided under a rental agreement.

Return Shipping & Restocking Fee

Buyer pays all return shipping costs. Pro Lift Source does not provide prepaid return labels. For heavy equipment and palletized items, the buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for freight return shipping. Items must be returned in the same manner they were shipped (e.g., freight items must be returned via freight carrier, not parcel service).

A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved returns. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and inventory processing. The restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount. Original shipping costs paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives defective or was damaged during shipping, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the damage or defect. Contact Riley@ProLiftSource.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. We will work with you to resolve the issue through repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion. Failure to report damage within 48 hours may void your claim, as we cannot verify whether damage occurred during shipping or after delivery.

Important: If your item is delivered via freight carrier, you MUST inspect the item at the time of delivery and note any visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing. Signing a delivery receipt without noting damage may limit our ability to file a freight claim on your behalf.

How to Request a Return

  1. Email Riley@ProLiftSource.com with the subject line “Return Request – [Your Order Number].”

  2. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, the reason for return, and photos showing the item’s current condition and packaging.

  3. Wait for written approval before shipping anything back. We will respond within 2 business days.

  4. If approved, ship the item back using the method and address we provide. You are responsible for all return shipping costs and must provide a tracking number.

  5. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund (minus restocking fee and original shipping) within 7–10 business days to your original payment method.

Refund Details

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method only. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Your refund amount will reflect the purchase price minus the 25% restocking fee and any original shipping charges. We do not issue refunds in cash, check, or store credit unless required by law. Partial refunds may be issued at our sole discretion for items returned in less than original condition.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, you must request a return for the original item (subject to all conditions above) and place a new order separately.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the item has not already shipped. Once an item has shipped or been tendered to a carrier, the order cannot be cancelled and the standard return policy applies. For freight shipments that have already been dispatched, the buyer is responsible for any carrier fees incurred to redirect or return the shipment.

Limitation of Liability

Pro Lift Source’s total liability for any return or refund claim shall not exceed the original purchase price of the item. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use, or return of any product, including but not limited to lost revenue, downtime, labor costs, or installation/removal expenses.

Policy Changes

Pro Lift Source reserves the right to modify this return policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and apply to all orders placed after the effective date of the update.
